uldr u-boot env.bin passend zum Image

Hallo,

meine Trinity (Shiner) bekommt das 3.4er Image nicht zum laufen. Nachdem ich Box mit einem recovery-Flash via USB durchgeführt habe, und dadurch warscheinlich zu alte Versionen von

- uldr.bin (Loader)
- u-boot.bin (u-Boot)
- env.bin (u-Boot Umgebung)

verwendet wurden, benötige ich nun die passenden Dateien zum NI-Image 3.4.

Verwende ich den Kernel und das Image von diesem Forum, bootet die Box nicht. Verwende ich den "alten Kernel" von dem Recovery-Stick der bei mir die Box wiederbelebt hat, und benutze nur das 3.4er Image, bootet die Box.


Die env.bin konnte ich in diesem Forum finden, jedoch nicht die oben genannten Dateien uldr.bin und u-boot.bin passend zum Image. Ich lese oft, bitte die "aktuellen" uldr.bin und u-boot.bin mit auf den Stick packen..... Woher bekomme ich den die "aktuellen" Dateien her?

Ich hoffe Ihr könnt mir weiter helfen.

Folgendes habe ich durchgeführt:

Via Online-Update auf das aktuelle 3.5 aktualisiert, und dann einen Werksreset durchgeführt. Danach die Einstellungen von Matze (Channellists) geladen, neu gestartet, und schon sind die Programme da.

Mit dem 3.4er Image konnte ich die Bouquets nicht editieren. Jetzt ist alles in Ordnung.

Der Vollständigkeit halber bekomme ich vielleicht noch eine Antwort auf die oben gestellte Frage mit den Dateien. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass ich nicht der einzige bin, der Probleme bei der "richtigen" Datei-Beschaffung hat.

Ich benötige noch mal eure Hilfe.

Nachdem die Box nun läuft, habe ich noch die fstab angepasst zwecks TimeShift und Aufnahme auf mein NAS.

Nun ist es so, dass, wenn ich den Strom von der Box nehme, diese nicht mehr startet.

Im Boot-Log konnte ich sehen, das u-boot hier das Problem ist.

Also wieder den USB-Stick rausgesucht, "NUR" u-boot via Emergency-Flash geflasht, und siehe da, die Box startet wieder.

Vielleicht liegt es an der u-boot Version? Und schon sind wir wieder beim ursprünglichen Thema: Woher bekomme ich die passendee env.bin und u-boot.bin. Die die ich verwende, sind von einem anderen Image, da ich keine passenden hierzu gefunden habe.

Hier mal das Boot-Log nachdem ich den Strom von der Box nehme (wiederholt sich in Endlosschleife):

was den Log angeht sehe ich doch ausser bei der u-boot.bin bei allen Dateien "skipping" + "unable to read" stehen = konnte nicht gefunden oder gelesen werden.
Die Dateien sind definitiv mit dem richtigen Namen auf dem Stick (Gross/Kleinschreibung, keine weiteren Endungen die Windows nicht anzeigt ?)
Lad dir das aktuelle 3.5er nightly-Image von http://neutrino-images.de/neutrino-images/nightly/ oder das letzte 3.4er Release über http://neutrino-images.de/neutrino-images/release/ (ich würde das Nightly nehmen).
Nimm dabei die cst-shiner.img-Datei
Öffne das runter geladene Image mit dem NewTuxFlashtool (http://www.dbox2.info/download.php?catid=5&subcat=6)
unter var > update findest sich u-boot.bin und uldr.bin, sowie der kernel vmlinux > auf den PC bzw den Stick entpacken
Für die env.bin legst du einfach eine völlig leere Datei an und nennst diese env.bin
Das Image selber benennst du um nach rootfs.arm.jffs2.nand

Unabhängig welche uldr, u-boot usw. du auf dem Stick hast: wenn es bei unable to read bleibt, dann anderen Stick nehmen

Zuerst wollte ich noch die fstab sichern, nur hat "mein" Workaround mit dem "schnell mal nur die u-boot flashen und schon geht es wieder" nicht mehr funktioniert. Dann habe ich wie oben beschrieben alle Dateien auf den Stick gepackt und geflasht. Leider bleibt die Box immer wieder an der gleichen Stelle stehen.

Ich denke die Box ist futsch..
Ich habe zusätzlich noch einen Emergency-Flash mit einem BP-Image versucht. Damit konnte ich damals die Box wiederbeleben. Gleiches Ergebnis. Bleibt an der gleichen Stelle stehen.
Mir ist aufgefallen, dass die Box nach dem einschalten kurz 3x blinkt. Eine dauer leuchtendes "grün", wie es normalerweise der Fall sein sollte, bleibt aus.

Liegt hier veilleicht die Ursacht?

eigentlich sind diese Bad Blocks bei NAND-Speichern zumindest nicht unüblich (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/NAND-Flash). Sollte auch kein Problem sein, wenn da ein paar KBs fehlen.
ist jetzt nicht selten, wenn man nach "Bad block table found at page 262080" googelt (mit Anführungszeichen), findet sich der Fehler recht häufig, weil dort die defekten Speicheradressen abgelegt sind, aber deswegen funzen viele Geräte trotzdem.

Wenn man mal googelt nach "ahci-stb e0638000.sata" (das ist ja so am Ende des Logs vor dem Reset), dann finden sich ein paar ähnliche Bootlogs auch dieser Box (nicht verwechseln mit Kronos), auch ein recht neuer Thread hier im Forum: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=2459 - aber das wird dich jetzt nicht glücklicher machen, da war es wohl hardwaremässig die Box selber (oder zumindest ist der Thread damit geendet)

wo du mit uldr, u-boot und env rumgespielt hast, wäre eventuell die Telnetausgabe auf den Befehl printenv noch interessant, auch wenn es nicht wirklich danach aussieht, als wären die Partitionen zerhackt

Die Box lebt wieder... die Lösung:

Einfach nochmal geflasht, nur ohne env.bin und uldr.bin

- rootfs.arm.jffs2.nand
- u-boot.bin
- vmlinux.ub.gz

Dateien aus dem 30.06. Shiner CST Image via TuxFlashTool extrahiert.

Das Ergebnis war jetzt aber reiner Zufall und meiner Hartnäckigkeit geschuldet.

Wenn ich den Stromstecker ziehe, dann bleibt die Box wieder bei der gewohnten Meldung hängen.
Dann scheint doch ein Defekt vorzuliegen. :(

externe Hardware an der Box hängen ? (mal ohne testen)
klar kann es auch an der Hardware liegen, kenn ich persönlich selber von ner Neo wo die Netzteil-Elkos defekt war und die Box nicht mehr bootete - oder diese waren warm, durch Betrieb oder "von extern" via Föhn *g* (nicht unbedingt anzuraten, aber funzte)
Mal ein anderes Netzteil versucht ?

Ich habe schon so denkbar alles ausprobiert.... Die Box ist zur Zeit direkt an meinem Laptop mit Null-Modem Kabel angeschlossen. Kein HDMI, kein Sat, kein USB... nur serielles Kabel, damit ich sehen kann was in der Box los ist.

Ein defektes Netzteil hatte ich als erstes verdächtigt. Kann ich aber ausschließen, da erstens mit Multimeter durchgemessen und zweitens wenn ich die Box wieder flashe, diese wieder bootet. Ich kann die Box so oft mit der Fernbedienung ausschalten und einschalten wie ich will. So lange, bis ich abends die Steckerleiste ausschalte. Dann bleibt der Boot-Vorgang wieder bei sata stehen....

Die Frage aller Fragen: Welche Informationen hält die Box mit Strom, und was geht verloren wenn der Strom fehlt.

Beispiel: Analog zum PC-Standby, wenn alle Informationen in den RAM geschrieben werden. Wenn man dann den Strom-Stecker zieht, dann muss der PC auch wieder "normal" booten. Wenn ich die Daten , wie bei meinem Laptop (wenn ich diesen zuklappe) auf die Platte schreiben lasse. Dann kann ich gemütlich das Netzteil abziehen und den Laptop in den Schrank legen. Beim nächsten einschalten kann ich direkt an der Stelle weiter "arbeiten" wo ich aufgehört habe.

(i) der ganze Käse hat erst angefangen, als ich die fstab manuell editiert habe, da auto mount via Web-Interface keine Einträge in der selbigen geschrieben hat. Habe mich abends noch gefreut das TimeShift und Aufnahme funktioniert, und als ich am nächsten Tag die Box einschalte............................. naja, ist ja bekannt... Aber wahrscheinlich ist das Zufall.
